This laboratory analyses the rental sector via data on supply and demand provided by the property portals Habitaclia and Fotocasa, and on rental deposits placed with the Catalan Land Institute (INCASÒL). It focuses on the evolution of the number of rental properties and the average monthly price of and demand for rental dwellings in Barcelona, the rest of its metropolitan area, the rest of the province, and, for the first time, in Catalonia as a whole. This line of research will be continued on a periodical basis.
