Sixth annual report by the Barcelona Metropolitan Housing Observatory. This document reviews the situation in 2022 of the housing sector in the city of Barcelona, the rest of its metropolitan area and the rest of the province. In the year the Covid-19 restrictions were finally lifted, the macro-economic scenario was characterised by high inflation and in the second half of the year a rapid acceleration in interest rates. This report examines the state of the market and analyses residential exclusion along with access and permanence in housing.
