With the aim of knowing the reality (or realities) of social housing, the laboratory ‘Map of social housing managers of the demarcation of Barcelona’ analyzes the social housing managers operating in the province of Barcelona and the characteristics of their properties. The ultimate aim of the laboratory is to provide elements of analysis on the opportunities and threats that exist in this field.
The study, carried out with the collaboration of Vincle, is based mainly on the combination of qualitative interviews with the representatives of the various social housing coordinators and an own survey aimed at entities of different types (public, private and third sector). Thus we have been able to analyze 29 social housing managers who have a residential park of 33,378 homes in the demarcation of Barcelona.
