‘Estrategias y potencial de rehabilitación’ is a study on the current situation and trends in the city of Barcelona regarding the rehabilitation of homes and buildings. In this first installment, ‘European context’, a brief conceptual framework is presented on an international scale (mainly European) to give context and situate this document within the current European urban debate and includes a brief case study that combines rehabilitation and generation of new housing in Europe.
