The document that compiles the presentations and debates from the conferences held on March 19 and 20 at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona (CCCB) is now available for consultation. Co-organized by the Association of Social Housing Policy Managers of Catalonia (GHS), COHABITAC, and the Metropolitan Housing Observatory of Barcelona (O-HB), with the support of CUIMPB and CCCB, the event served as a platform for debate and reflection to analyze current political proposals on social housing, assess their viability, and suggest improvements to enhance their impact.
The worsening difficulties in accessing and maintaining housing, which affect a significant part of the population, have placed this issue at the center of institutional and political priorities. For this reason, these conferences brought together institutional representatives, experts, and professionals in the sector to address the main challenges of social housing in Catalonia.
Below, we present the report summarizing the debates held during the two-day course, along with the link to the event videos and the document containing the presentations of the lectures.
