On the occasion of the publication of number 66 of the magazine ‘Papers. Metropolitan Region of Barcelona’, dedicated to housing policies for rent in the 21st century, the Barcelona Metropolitan Housing Observatory and the Institut Metròpoli have organized the conference ‘The challenges for the increase and management of the social housing stock’.
We have brought together some of the leading experts in the sector to discuss what is surely the main structural aspect of housing policies: the social park. With two fundamental themes, on the one hand, the increase in the stock of social housing and, on the other, the challenge posed by the management of this park.
The day was attended by about 100 registered, mostly members of entities in the sector and specialists.
Throughout the day, a report was carried out with the main data exposed by the speakers.
