On February 20 and 21, 2024,the Barcelona Metropolitan Housing Observatory (O-HB) held the conference ‘Demand and residential needs: today’s challenges to access decent housing’, in collaboration with the Consorci Internacional Universitat Menéndez Pelayo Barcelona (CUIMPB) – Centre Ernest Lluch. A day that had more than 230 registrants.
For two days we have gathered the main experts in the sector to examine the characteristics – current and short-term forecasts – of housing demand in qualitative and quantitative terms, with special attention to the different support needs required by an important segment of the population to be able to access decent housing, young people in particular.
Throughout the day, a presentation was made with the main data presented by the speakers.
